Deputies: Williamson woman sent to Strong after one-car crash on Rt. 88

One person was sent to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a crash on Rt. 88 in Arcadia.

Deputies say it occurred when 25-year-old Rachel Horton of Williamson was traveling north on Rt. 88.

She swerved to avoid hitting a deer, which caused her vehicle to go off the east side of the road. It then collided with an embankment and overturned.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by Newark Ambulance and the Fairville Fire Department.

She was transported by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
