Deputies: Waterloo man stole $400 in cash, $50 check from wallet

Deputies report the arrest of a Waterloo man following an incident on March 30.

Joshua Read, 30, was charged with petit larceny.




He’s accused of going to a person’s home and taking over $400 in cash from their wallet, as well as a check valued at $50.

After investigation, Read was arrested on an unrelated warrant. That’s when deputies charged him with petit larceny.

He was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge at a later date.
