Auburn superintendent says COVID cases not connected to school activity

Auburn Superintendent Jeff Pirozzolo isn’t concerned about a recent uptick in cases of COVID-19 in Cayuga County.

He told Finger Lakes News Radio that spread isn’t happening inside buildings.

Rather he believes the spread is occurring outside the district’s buildings.

Pirozzolo says that he hopes by September all of the restrictions- including mask requirements will be lifted.
