Deputies say they are investigating a personal injury crash that happened on State Route 21 in the town of Williamson on May 13.

It happened a little before 5 p.m., according to deputies, who said in a release that a vehicle operated by Michelle Milton, 39, of Williamson was stopped- facing south on Rt. 21 waiting to turn- when a second vehicle operated by Edmond Brennessel, 20, of Williamson struck the rear of the car.

Milton was checked over at the scene and released. Brennessel was not injured in the crash.

Deputies say Brennessel was ticketed for following too closely and will answer the charge at a later date.
