Deputies: Waterloo man charged with DWI after going 72 mph in 30 mph zone

Deputies report the arrest of a Waterloo man in Wayne County after a roadside investigation on Rt. 31 in Galen.

According to deputies Stephan Britt, 26, of Waterloo was stopped for speeding when it was determined that he was intoxicated.




Deputies say Britt was traveling 72 mph in a 30 mph zone. He was charged with DWI, as well as a number of other violations after being found to have a BAC of 0.15%.

Britt was released on traffic tickets and will answer the charges at a later date.
