Elmira home caught on fire Wednesday still under investigation

A fire broke out just after midnight on Wednesday night in Elmira.

The home ablaze was on the 3-hundred block of Lorenzo Place in the City of Elmira.




Witnesses said everyone in the home was able to safely escape.

Fire crews remained on scene through the overnight hours and a power line was also reported down. NYSEG arrived to fix it and the fire remains under investigation.
