As the state of New York reopens, event services are seeing an influx

With pandemic regulations diminishing, people are now rushing to do the things they wanted to pre-Covid; like getting married.

Couples who became engaged right before the pandemic are now competing with newly engaged couples for wedding services.

Many wedding venues and other services in relation to event planning have become so overwhelmed they’re hiring more people to keep up with demand.

Some event planners say that the weekends are so busy that they’re holding events during the week.

One wedding coordinator told Twin Tiers local news that planning the big day for this year, or even next year, might be too late.

Some venues are booking into 2023.
