One thing that can help is for college students to begin building a credit history before graduation.




One way is to become an authorized user on someone else’s account. A bank or credit union may also be able to help with issuing a credit card for students to use in emergencies.

Experian Boost is also a good program for students to utilize in order to pay their bills and build credit from it.
