A Seneca Falls woman has been charged with petit larceny following a shoplifting incident at the Walmart Super Center last month.
Joan M. Stuck, 57, was arrested Tuesday evening at 8:52 p.m. by the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department. The arrest followed an investigation into an October 19th incident where Stuck was observed taking merchandise and passing all points of sale without paying.
Stuck was charged with one count of petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date.
The Waterloo Police Department assisted in Stuck’s arrest. Authorities have not disclosed the value or type of merchandise involved in the theft.
