The Buffalo Sabres (11-16-4) blew a two-goal lead and fell 5-3 to the Toronto Maples Leafs (19-10-2) on Sunday night at Scotiabank Arena, extending their losing streak to 10 games.
Jack Quinn scored twice and Alex Tuch added another for Buffalo, who led 3-1 midway through the second period. JJ Peterka tallied two assists, while Devon Levi made 36 saves in his first NHL game in a month.
Buffalo went 1-for-2 on the man advantage and 3-for-4 on the penalty kill.
The Sabres wrap up a three-game road trip in Montreal on Tuesday when they visit the Canadiens at 7 p.m.
