Two people were transported to the hospital Friday afternoon following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of State Route 5&20 and Parrish Street.
Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene at approximately 2:22 p.m., alongside Cheshire Fire Department and Canandaigua Ambulance.
Investigators determined that Karina Dangio, 25, of Farmington, was driving a 2017 Honda Pilot and attempting to make a left turn from State Route 5&20 onto Parrish Street. Dangio’s vehicle collided with a 2018 Subaru Outback traveling north on State Route 5&20, driven by Geraldine Hughes, 65, of Bloomfield.
Hughes and an infant passenger in Dangio’s vehicle were transported to F.F. Thompson Hospital for further evaluation. Authorities reported no serious injuries from the crash.
