Decomposing human remains were discovered on January 12 near the Bone Wash Trail and Elephant Arch hiking area in Washington City, Utah. Police confirmed the remains belong to a man and appear to have been there for an extended period, with no signs of foul play.
The remains have been sent to the Medical Examiner’s office to determine the cause of death. The man’s identity has been confirmed, and his family notified, but his name remains private.
