Sabres rally for 3-2 road win in Vancouver

Jiri Kulich led the charge with a goal and two assists as the Buffalo Sabres (18-24-5) rallied for a thrilling 3-2 road victory over the Vancouver Canucks (20-16-10) on Tuesday.

J.J. Peterka contributed a goal and an assist, while Tage Thompson notched his team-leading 21st goal of the season. Rasmus Dahlin also played a pivotal role, adding two assists to power Buffalo’s offense.

Goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen was stellar between the pipes, turning aside 32-of-34 shots to help the Sabres bounce back from a tough 6-4 loss to the Kraken in Seattle the night before.

Elias Pettersson and Phillip Di Giuseppe found the back of the net for Vancouver, while Thatcher Demko made 23 saves.

The Sabres will continue their road trip on Thursday when they visit the Calgary Flames at 9 p.m.
