A preliminary plan for a four-story, 123-room Marriott Element by Westin hotel at Eastview Mall in Victor was presented to the Planning Board this month.
The proposed site, near JCPenney and the former Lord & Taylor buildings, would replace a parking area and include amenities like an indoor pool and covered patio.
Wilmorite Properties, the mall’s owner, clarified that no lease agreement has been signed yet.
Board members raised questions about the structure’s visibility from Routes 96 and 490, but the site’s commercial zoning allows for hotel development. The proposal remains under review, with the public hearing still open.
