A Seneca Falls man is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges following a domestic dispute on Thursday.
Joshua T. Larsen, 34, of Seneca Falls, was arrested by the Seneca Falls Police Department at 8:11 p.m. after allegedly arriving at a victim’s residence with a loaded shotgun, threatening to shoot the victim, and fleeing the scene. Authorities said Larsen was apprehended shortly afterward at another residence in town.
Larsen is charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, a class C felony; criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a class D felony; menacing in the second degree, an class A misdemeanor; three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, also misdemeanors; and harassment in the first degree.
While being processed at the police department, police said Larsen became irate and caused a disturbance. As a result, he was also charged with an additional count of harassment in the first degree and obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree, an A misdemeanor.
Larsen was transported to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center to await arraignment. Authorities have requested an order of protection on behalf of the victim.
