RECALL: Lay’s potato chips recalled due to allergen risk

The FDA has issued a Class I recall for 6,344 bags of Lay’s Classic Potato Chips in Oregon and Washington due to undeclared milk, a serious allergen. The recall, initiated by Frito-Lay on December 13, 2024, was classified as high-risk on January 27, 2025.


The affected 13-ounce bags have a “Guaranteed Fresh” date of February 11, 2025, and specific manufacturing codes. No allergic reactions have been reported.
