Investigators determined that Yu Zhong, 34, of Westwood, Massachusetts, was driving a 2024 Kia north on Townline Road and attempted to make a left turn onto State Route 96. Rubin Marin, 64, of Newark, was traveling west on State Route 96 in a 2020 Nissan when Zhong failed to yield, leading to a collision.

Marin and his passenger were transported to Geneva General Hospital for treatment of minor, non-life-threatening injuries. Zhong was cited for failing to yield while making a left-hand turn.
