The Buffalo Bills paid their superstar quarterback on Sunday night.
Josh Allen and the Bills reached agreement on a record-setting six-year, $330 million contract through the 2030 season that includes $250 million guaranteed, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.
Its the largest guaranteed total ever given to an NFL player.
Allen was named the NFL Most Valuable Player in 2024 after an outstanding season in which he amassed 4,269 total yards, 41 touchdowns, and a career-low eight turnovers. Among his numerous records, he became the first player in NFL history to record five consecutive seasons with 40 or more total touchdowns.
Under Allen’s leadership, the Buffalo Bills finished with a 13-4 record, securing their fifth consecutive AFC East division title. They also advanced to the AFC Championship for the second time in five seasons.
Since entering the league, Allen has set a historic pace, recording the most wins (76), total touchdowns (262), and total yards (30,595) of any player in their first seven seasons. In Week 13, he surpassed Bills legend and Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly for the most total touchdowns in franchise history.
A three-time Pro Bowler, two-time All-Pro, and the reigning MVP, Allen continues to solidify his legacy as one of the league’s premier quarterbacks.
