A Penn Yan man was taken into custody on a warrant for grand larceny following an investigation by the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
Matthew L. Kennedy, 41, was arrested on Wednesday evening on a Yates County Superior Court warrant related to an incident from December. Authorities did not release further details about the original case.
Deputies transported Kennedy to the Yates County Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment at the next available session of Yates County Court.
