Hector Town Supervisor Justin Boyette has been sentenced to 15 days in jail after being convicted of Driving While Ability Impaired. His conviction follows a February 2024 crash on State Route 414 while driving under the influence.
Originally charged with felony DWI, Boyette’s sentence includes a 90-day license suspension and a $500 fine. This marks his third drunk driving offense.
Despite the conviction, town officials confirmed Boyette will remain in his role as supervisor. When asked for comment, the Town of Hector declined to respond.
