A pesticide spill outside an Auburn home disrupted traffic Tuesday afternoon as crews worked to contain the flow of fungicide down a driveway and onto Grant Avenue.
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation responded after a 911 call around 1:30 p.m., restricting traffic to one lane near Standart Avenue during cleanup. Officials confirmed the pesticide was contained and no waterways were affected.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing, and it’s unclear if enforcement actions will follow.
