Deputies responding to a theft call on Outlet Road in Manchester ended up arresting a driver for DWI on Friday night.
Jolene L. Baxter, a 41-year-old from Shortsville, was taken into custody after Ontario County deputies determined she had been driving under the influence of alcohol.
The incident began around 9:07 p.m. when deputies were dispatched to investigate a reported theft. During the course of their investigation, they encountered Baxter and found she was intoxicated behind the wheel.
She was issued a traffic citation for Driving While Intoxicated and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Town Court at a later date.
