Deputies: Bloomfield woman forged ex-husband’s check

Deputies say a 42-year-old Bloomfield resident was arrested on forgery charges following an incident involving her ex-husband. They say Tricia Beerens was charged with third-degree forgery after forging a check to herself, from her ex-husband’s checkbook. The check was valued at $250, according to deputies. She was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charges at a later date. more

A popular Brooklyn brewery announced Tuesday that it has purchased an Ontario County facility and will open a second location there. According to the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle, Other Half Brewing has purchased the former Nedloh Brewing Co. in East Bloomfield for $660,000.
