Farmington man bit guard at Clifton Springs Hospital, charged with assault

A 22-year-old Farmington man was arrested on assault charges after an incident at Clifton Springs Hospital over the weekend. Adam Stekl, 22, of Farmington was charged with third-degree assault, according to deputies. While being admitted, Stekl became uncooperative and aggressive toward staff. At one point deputies say he bit one of the security guards at the hospital causing minor injury.... more

A Clifton Springs teen was arrested on an assault charge after a fight with another juvenile female in the Phelps-Clifton Springs area. Clifton Springs YMCA to hold basketball tournament

Clifton Springs YMCA will hold a three-on-three basketball tournament on June 2. The seeded tournament will include high school, junior high and elementary divisions for boys and girls.
