The Watkins Glen Police Department reports the arrest of a 58-year-old Montour Falls resident after a traffic stop on Tuesday. Police say Timothy M. Odessa woman arrested for attempting to sell controlled substance

Jill M. Laughlin, 39, of Odessa was arrested on July 28th and charged with third-degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance. She allegedly attempted to sell prescription medicine. Laughlin was arraigned in the Village of Montour Falls Court and released to appear at a later date. more

Dundee woman charged with welfare fraud

The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office reports that Antoinette M. Morgan, 47, of Dundee was charged with offering a false instrument for filing and welfare fraud after allegedly providing false information to the Schuyler County Department of Social Services and receiving benefits. Morgan was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge at a later date. more
