A home on Italy Turnpike Road was “basically a total loss” after a fire Tuesday afternoon, according to Naples Fire Chief Patrick Elwell. Naples man jailed on ‘no bail’ after domestic incident in Yates

Deputies say a 38-year-old Naples man was charged after an investigated incident of domestic violence. The Yates County Sheriff’s Office says Andrew Schenk, 38, of Naples was charged with aggravated criminal contempt and harassment. Yates County has joined other New York State municipalities in engaging a legal firm for representation for a potential lawsuit against big pharmaceutical companies for aggressive marketing of opioids.
