Friday, October 26 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm$5
Join the Auburn Chamber Orchestra on Friday, October 26 for “Water”, our first concert of the season at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, 6877 E. Lake Road, Auburn, at 7:30 pm. Director Steven Frackenpohl has chosen a program of music inspired by the power and beauty of water. Come and hear “The Moldau” by Smetana, “The Blue Danube” by Strauss, and “Summer Night on the River” by Delius. You will also be treated to the Waltz from Tchaikowsky’s “Swan Lake”, Handel’s “Water Music”, and the beautiful second movement of Beethoven’s 6th, or Pastoral Symphony. The recording of this concert is made possible with a grant from Skaneateles Area Arts Council. A $5 donation is welcomed at the door.
Come back again for the upcoming concerts of the season: “A Joyful Christmas” at St. Francis Church December 9, “Family Concert” at Auburn Alliance Church March 2, and “Auburn Pops!” at the CCC Bisgrove Theater April 26. Don’t miss the ACO’s 32nd season!
