Effective Communication Strategies – Alzheimer’s Association
Thursday, December 15, 2016 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
The Alzheimer’s Association offers free community education classes for caregivers and those who are interested in information about Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Join us on December 15 to explore how communication takes place when someone has Alzheimer’s, learn to decode the verbal and behavioral messages delivered by someone with dementia, and identify strategies to help you connect and communicate at each stage of the disease. In-home respite care may be available for your loved one with one week’s notice. These education sessions are supported, in part, by a grant from the New York State Department of Health in partnership with Lifespan of Greater Rochester.
